This aircraft belongs to Hiso Tetsuzo Iwamoto, during mission at Rabaul since 14 november 1943 to 20th feb. 1944.
Since march 1943, he was on guard of northan Hokkaido area in the 281 airteam, then the team expanded to Rabaul in november.
during his service in Rabaul for about 3 month, he reported shot down 142 enemy planes.
A picture found after making this plane ,taken by maintainer, shows there were white line on the wing and body, and the first tailcode of "V1" which has meaning of 281 team was not painted
over yet.
According to Iwamoto himself, he remembers his plane code as 53-102 and 53-104.but there is no proof.
This plane equip anti air bomb called "3gou bakudan".it was also called "octopus bomb" because when it explodes, fragments and smoke spreads like octopus.
This model is based on tamiya,s kit.
Engine cowl is removable, and engine plug code is attached on engine.
Metal made piton-tube is included on kit.
I add panel lines carving with knife.
Shadow is painted by pastel, using only brush.
