独逸空軍 Bf110E ポーランド １９４２年（エデュアルド）
Luftwaffe Bf110E Poland.1942(Eduard)
初めて制作しました、エデュアルド製のフルキットです。エデュアルドは２０世紀からアフターパーツを出しているので知っていたのですが、フルキットも出していると知ったのは２０１９年になってからでした。
タイトルに「ウィークエンド」とあったので作りやすい簡易キットなのかと思いましたが、そうではありませんでした。
まずは説明書なのですが
閉じてすらいない…ばらけてしまうと番号もふってないのでわかりにくくなります。
しかもランナー構成も部品のサイズで決まっているらしく、工程もランナーがあっちこっちに飛ぶので作る手間は田宮の同じ部品数のキットの倍くらいかかりました。
製品は新製品だったはずなんですが、ばりもありました。また、曲面の合いもいまいちです。
デカールももろくて丸まりやすく、マークセッター必須でした。
ただ「この機体の正確な形状を再現したい」という気概は感じました。
そのせいで強度不足になっているのは否めないと思います。具体的には、飛行機模型でよく破損するランディングギア。ここは造形優先で、強度がかなり不足していたため、自前で金属の骨をいれることにいたしました。
また、金型の都合なんでしょうか。対空ロケット弾や落下増槽だけでなく、長距離飛行のＲ型を作るためのゴンドラ型増槽、胴体延長型のための胴体まで部品に含まれていました。なのでＲ型を作りたい人は、このＥ型キットを買うという 選択肢もあります。
This model is based on kit from Eduard. I knew the maker as additional parts supplyier, but I did not know till 2019 that the maker is also producing full kit.
As the kit has title of "weekend", I had once expected a easy-made kit, but it was not.
Compare to kit of Hasegawa and Tamiya, this kit was very accurate, but complicated.
Instructions were quite simple, and parts were separated by size, not concerning the way to build. so it took double (compare to that of Tamiya )time to make this kit.
But I felt that this maker wants to make a model as accurate as possible. but that did read to weaken the parts original strenght, too. landing gear was very weak, so I had to add metal bone in it.
Decal was not good, too. it was easy to roll, and very weak.
there were many optional parts, too. not only weapons, there were large tank to make model R too.
