帝国海軍重巡洋艦高雄型「高雄」（昭和１８年）(1/700 フジミ）

フジミのキットをベースに製作しました。
まだ大量の機銃や13号、22号電探を搭載していなかった想定して作っています。
当時の「高雄」の写真は遠景からのものしかありませんが、昭和１７年４月２２日から５日１日にかけて、に艦橋前面に遮風装置装備、高角砲を１２．７cm連装に換装、
カタパルト直前の側面の壁と、１番砲塔測距儀覆い両端を板で埋めたことがわかっています。既に、高角砲は基部だけ連装に対応したものが取り付けられていたそうですので、
１月弱で換装は完了しています。
This model is based on Fujimi,s kit.exhibits condition before equiping model 13 and 22 rader and many anti air machineguns in 1944.
There is no accurate picture of Takao during the battle of solomon, but there is pictures taken from far, such as deck of Atago.
According to remaining documents, Takao had equiped windbreaker on the front of bridge, and changed its AA guns to 12.7cm double gun, covered hole on the 1st turrets targetting device
(empty), from 22th apr.1942 to 1st may.
As AA gun turret or 12.7mm guns were already installed before war, it took less than 1 month to equip.
Hole on the side is also overed on the same time.
＜船体・甲板＞
船体にはあらかじめ鉄板の継ぎ目と汚水捨て管がモールドされているのですが、フルハル化に伴いすべて整形時に削り落としてしまったので、プラ棒（接着後整形）で管を追加しました。
アンカーはファインモールドのプラスチック部品を使用しました。
甲板上のディティールはキットのものが優れていたのでほぼそのままに、レジン製通風塔、エッチング製ホーサリール、弾薬箱、練習砲等を追加しました。
錨甲板は全体的に作り直し、レジン製のベルマウス・キャップスタンを配置しています。アンカーチェーンも実際の鎖に交換しています。
甲板上のリノリウム押さえ金具も、整形の都合で削ってしまった部位のものは、真鍮線で再現しました。
艦尾付近にあるプロペラガードが、０．３ｍｍ真鍮線製です。
Seam and pipes were already molded on original kit, so I only add some pipes.
Original reels , ventilators ,anchor chain ,capstan, and winches are being removed and replaced to new ones.
＜主砲塔＞
砲塔はファインモールド製のものを、ライオンロア製のエッチングの防熱板でデコレートしました。
砲身はアベール製の真ちゅう製に換装。
Main gun turret is being replaced to parts from FINEMOLD.
Gun barrel is made of brass parts.
＜艦橋＞
艦橋や後マストの双眼鏡や計測機器類は、ライオンロアのエッチング製です。
21号電探は、フジミの純正エッチングを使用。
探照灯、信号灯はファインモールドの透明部品を使いました。
射撃指揮所伝声管は、０．２ｍｍ真鍮線製です。
マストのヤードは真鍮線製、速力標・風速計や避雷針はレインボーのエッチング製です。
AA machineguns, searchlights are from FINEMOLD.
Binoculars are from JOEWORLD.
＜高角砲・対空兵装備＞
１２．７ｃｍ連装高角砲と機銃はピットロードファインモールド製のものに交換しました。
12.7cm twin AA guns are mainly build from parts from Finemold.
＜航空兵装＞
高雄は開戦時、九五式水偵2機、九四式水偵察を1機搭載していましたが、これが零式水上観測機と零式3座水偵察に換装された時期は不明です。塗装も、ちょうど過渡期だったため、
グレー単色と、洋上迷彩の両方の可能性があります。
少なくとも、ソロモン海海戦当時「愛宕」に搭載されていた「利根」機は、グレー単色でした。
カタパルトはファインモールドのエッチング製呉式五号に,飛行機用軌条はフジミ純製、軌条の内側はリノリウム張りとしました。
Skulski says it was during the autumn 1942 that mix of 2 F1M2 + 1 E13A1 replaced 2 E8N2 + 1 E7K2. I would say that seaplane carriers
had priority over other ships in deliveries of new floatplanes so she could have carried E8Ns a bit longer. However MAYA operated one E13A1 during Aleutians campaign
in June 1942 while TAKAO still had older E7K2. I suspect ATAGO as a Second Fleet/CruDiv 4 [Kantai 2/Sentai 4] flagship [Adm. KONDO Nobutake] could have carried also new E13A1.
As it were in time when many japanese plane had changed color pattern, aircrafts can be painted on both glay and green.at least, plane on Atago was painted in glay.

＜その他＞
空中線は鋼線製です。
クレーンはフジミ製のエッチング部品に換装しました。
内火艇はピットロードの部品セットのものを使用。
９ｍカッターはファインモールドのもの。
エッチング製のボートダビッドはファインモールドのものを使用しました。
