日本海軍艦艇としては珍しい、試験的に迷彩を施された時期の睦月を再現しました。
キットはトライアンフというメーカーさんのもので、船体がレジン、発泡ウレタン製、主要構造物・装備品は３Dプリンター製、マストや手すりは真鍮線とエッチング製です。
資料としては、図面集の「長月」の図面と「メカ図鑑 日本の駆逐艦」が非常に参考になりました。参考にしました。
This model exhibits Mutsuki in july 1941, when she was painted in camo painting as test.
I mainly reffered original blueprint of Nagatsuki and picture taken on Palau.
Making this model, book and illustrations from Grand prix press helped well.
＜艦首＞
艦首錨甲板には、３Dプリンター製の錨鎖を使いました。アンカーも同様です。
錨甲板上の洗濯物は金属板を切り出して作りました。
一番魚雷発射管の上の天幕は、水木工ボンドで濡らした紙で作りました。
I used 3D printed anchor chain and anchor.
Capstan and rising pit was inclueded on kit. I add chain pipe.
There are crews drying their clothes on anchor deck. their clothes are made of metal plate.
Cloth above 1st topedo tube is made of paper.
＜武装＞
１２ｃｍ砲の砲身は金属製
対空機銃は、艦橋左右に７．７ｍｍ単装機銃、艦中央の機銃デッキ上には２連装１３ｍｍ機銃を装備。対空火器はこれだけです。
３Dプリンター製の魚雷発射管は、裸の状態を再現できるようにハンドルまで再現されていました。
Gun barrel of 12cm gun was made of brass.
There are 2 of single 7.7mm AA guns on both side of brige, and 13mm twin machineguns on center of ship.
Topedo tube had handle parts, to exhibit naked tubes in need.
＜艦橋・前マスト＞
艦橋の構造は、図面より「軍艦メカニズム」に掲載されていたイラストが役に立ちました。艦橋トップの測距儀の左右には信号用ライトが配置されており、これはVETERAN MODELのレジン製部品を使いました。
More than blueprint, illustration from "warship mechanism" had more infomation about bridgestructure. beside rangefinder,there are small signal light made of resin by VETERAN MODEL.
マストとヤードは真鍮線製。ヤードリフトには０．５ｍｍ鋼線を使用。ヤードの足掛けとマストトップの風向計/避雷針はＧＥＮＵＩＮＥ ＭＯＤＥＬのエッチング製です。
なおマストが途中でまるで帆船のマストのように連結されているので不思議に思っていたのですが、木製でした。
Mast and yard is made of brass line.
Yard lift is made of 0.5mm steel line.
I found the original mas was made of timber.
＜艦中央＞
艦載艇のグライプバンドはマスキングテープです。
Band of boat is masking tape.
＜艦尾＞
後マストには、当時すでに使われなくなりつつあった円形の「指示盤」が取り付けられています。これには１から９の番号が記入されており、後方の船に信号を送るために使用されていました。無線電話の普及で廃止になりました。
艦尾には発煙筒が置かれていました。
Aft mast has round shape signal plate. there were number from 1 to 9 descibed on plate, to send signal to following ship, but removed after short range telephone was instaled.
＜フィギュア＞
フィギュアはビーバーコーポレーションとバンカースタジオの３Dプリンター製のものを使いました。
ビーバーのほうが若干大きく、また生産性を重視したのか、かなり密にフィギュアがランナーについており切り離しに苦労しました。バンカースタジオは横一列の配置だったので切り離しやすかったです。
Figures are all 3D printed parts from Beaber cooporation and Bunkerstudio. Bunkerstudio had difficuty on cutting parts off, Bunker studio was instaled on one line, easier to cut off.
最後に、艦船模型を作る上で「張線の意味がよくわからない」という意見をみかけましたので、今回の「睦月」制作の際良い資料があったので図を作ってみました。
